Storms knock out power for AEP customers
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Wednesday night's storms knocked out power to more than 12,000 AEP customers in Franklin County at one point.
According to AEP's outage map, 10,450 customers (down from nearly 13,000) were without power as of 11 p.m. Statewide, the company is reporting 32,183 customer outages. There is currently no estimated restoration time listed.

According to AEP's outage map, the other areas hit hardest by the storms are Licking County as well as Allen and Van Wert counties toward the northwest part of the state.
