Travis Kelce Pushes Back at Claim He Lost 25 Pounds
There's no question that Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been looking slimmer.
His weight loss is significant enough to be noticeable, but the question is: How much weight has he lost?
Now Kelce is pushing back at a widely circulated report that he lost 25 pounds.
When a reporter stated at a press appearance on June 18 that he had lost 25 pounds as if it were a fact, Kelce cut him off, video shows.
"First of all, I never said that. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet guys, all right. I never told anybody...." he trailed off and then said:
"I'm down some weight, yeah, from the end of the season last year. Each year's different, man. You've got to rebuild it. This year, I got some time to really focus on some form running and some things early on in the off-season that I just didn't have time for last year. Certainly feeling good, and it'll pay off."

The claim originated with Jeremy Fowler, an ESPN NFL "insider," per Sports Illustrated.
"He's told people close to him that he's lost about 25 pounds this offseason," Fowler said on air, according to SI.
Kelce also weighed in on the future.
"The Chiefs organization knows how much I love them. I can't see myself ever playing anywhere else," he said, adding that he was "focused on winning a championship this year," and saying he wants to be a leader and the best teammate he can be.
Kelce said he failed in the final game last season to be a leader and to step up and make plays. "Having my attention to detail" was one failure, he said.
He said he put a "regimen together" for his mind and body. "You have to evolve every single year in all phases of the game," Kelce told reporters. "I love football."
