Iran warns US Bases in Middle East are within Missile Range
Iran has warned that U.S. military bases across the Middle East are within its missile range, amid rising regional tensions.
Tasnim News Agency, a media outlet closely affiliated with Iran’s Quds Force, has published a list of U.S. military bases across the Middle East, claiming they are all within range of Iran’s missiles. The report highlights growing regional tensions amid speculation about potential U.S. involvement in Israeli strikes on Iran.
According to the report, U.S. bases in Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman are considered legitimate missile targets. This public statement is seen as a warning amidst rising fears of a broader conflict.
Amid growing speculation of U.S. involvement in Israeli operations against Iran, Donald Trump stated he opposes war but warned against Iran obtaining nuclear weapons, claiming Tehran was weeks away from capability.
Trump described the now-defunct nuclear agreement as a fair deal and expressed regret that it was never finalized. He acknowledged that the chance to revive such an agreement may have already slipped away, suggesting that the opportunity is rapidly fading and may no longer be recoverable.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on X that Iran has never pursued and will never pursue nuclear weapons. He reaffirmed Iran’s position that its military actions are purely defensive in nature.
As rhetoric escalates from both sides, the region remains on high alert. The publication of the U.S. base list by a state-aligned Iranian outlet, along with ongoing diplomatic stagnation, underscores the urgency for renewed international engagement to prevent full-scale conflict.
