New Iberia man indicted in 2022 death of Mary Faulk
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A New Iberia man has been indicted in connection with the death of Mary Faulk in 2022.
Jason Provost Sr., 43, of New Iberia, was indicted Wednesday on charges of manslaughter and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon by a grand jury in the 15th Judicial District Court.
Faulk was shot and killed in the 100 block of E. Gilman Road in Lafayette in June 2022.
Provost was arrested in April 2024. He had been previously convicted of burglary, according to the indictment.
