1. 3 dead, 1 in custody after Grafton shooting
Three people were pronounced dead after a shooting on South Road in Grafton Wednesday night, New York State Police said. Joshua Fowler, 26, faces multiple murder charges.
2. Former bandmates, label head remember Glenmont native killed in plane crash
It was a tragedy that shook the music industry. Music executive Dave Shapiro was killed in a plane crash in San Diego back in May.
3. Delaware man convicted of manslaughter for crash that killed Gansevoort family
Jay Richard Bynum of Seaford, Delaware was found guilty on Wednesday of causing the deaths of a Saratoga County family in a May 2024 car crash in Maryland, the Office of the State’s Attorney for Wicomico County confirmed with NEWS10. Bynum, 61, has been in custody since last June.
4. USA Today: Lake George among best in U.S.
Lake George has been recognized as one of the top three lakes in the United States after receiving a USA Today 10Best Award. The lake’s popularity as a vacation destination over the last century helped Lake George win third place.
5. Albany's Washington Park playground to close for construction
Washington Park in Albany is about to undergo some revitalization efforts. Beginning on Monday, June 23, the park playground will undergo construction until the fall of 2025.
