Former First Lady Michelle Obama Makes Bombshell Statement About Barack
Former First Lady Michelle Obama keeps fueling divorce rumors with comments on her podcast.
Her comments directed at her husband, former President Barack Obama, often have a little edge to them.
But her latest comment about her husband is really turning heads.
“You should’ve threw a boy in the mix,” radio host Angie Martinez told Michelle Obama on the June 19 podcast, sparking the exchange.
"I'm so glad I didn't have a boy," Michelle Obama said.
"Why didn't you throw in a third?" Martinez asked. The Obamas, of course, have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
"Because he would have been a Barack Obama," Michelle Obama explained.
"Baby Barack - it would have been amazing," responded Martinez.
But Michelle didn't let up even then.
"Ohhh, no. I would've felt for it," she responded.
Her brother, Craig Robinson, who co-hosts the podcast with his sister, said, "She just borrowed our boys."
"I got plenty," Michelle said.
“I’ve loved every phase of parenting: I loved them when they were little babies, I loved them when they were walking and starting to talk, the teenage years were interesting in the White House,” Obama said on the podcast.
“But I’ve loved every time with them — and watching them become their own people and make their own choices, and figure stuff out, and call me after they figure stuff out,” she said.
The episode was touted as being about sons.
"As the mother of two sons, Angie offers her opinions to a listener struggling with raising a son in a volatile culture filled with bad examples of masculinity. Michelle and Craig talk about adolescent social pressure, and Angie shares her best trick for connecting with sons," the caption says.
Michelle Obama has previously dismissed divorce rumors, BBC reported.
