Chris Evans Calls Jim & Pam His Favorite on-Screen Couple. But Dakota Johnson Disagreed
You’d be hard-pressed to find many fans of early 2000s sitcoms who didn’t have a soft spot for the popular on-screen relationship of Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) and Pam Beesley (Jenna Fischer).
However, one person who wasn't exactly a fan of the hit show The Office's on-screen duo is a star of the recently released film Materialists.
When asked about his favorite fictional couple during an interview with Bustle, Chris Evans didn't flinch while referencing Jim and Pam from The Office. But his Materialists co-star, Dakota Johnson? She wasn't having it one bit.
Evans almost backtracked slightly after thinking out loud a bit on it, but ultimately decided to stick with his initial answer.

"Jim and Pam," Evans stated, leading to Johnson scoffing in disagreement before saying, "No."
"Although, I guess there's that whole narrative where they're like...people say that it was like a toxic relationship now," Evans added.
"I don't give a s---. I love Jim and Pam, I love Jim and Pam. I'm a big Jim and Pam fan," Evans concluded.
Johnson's apparent disagreement wasn't enough to sway Evans on the topic when all was said and done. And it's easy to understand why.
The on-screen romance between Jim and Pam stretched from essentially the start of the entire series in 2005, even if the two didn't get together until the end of Season 3/beginning of Season 4. They eventually got engaged in Season 5, and fans were treated to an on-screen wedding featuring the whole cast of The Office.
