NFL Superstar Getting Heckled on Plane Sparks Outrage
Cincinnati Bengals and NFL superstar Ja'Marr Chase was just minding his own business while on a flight when someone decided to heckle him.
A "fan" seeking an autograph from the elite NFL wide receiver didn't get what he wanted, so he loudly called Chase out, drawing unwanted attention to the Bengals superstar.
"Everybody say hi to Ja'Marr Chase on your way out," the man heckling Chase said in the video.
We hesitate to call this person a "fan" because it's very possible he was just someone looking to get Chase's autograph in order to turn around and sell it. Either way, the whole situation was caught on camera.

A autograph collector went CRAZY on #Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase while he was on the plane after Chase did not give him an autograph.
The fan said: “Should’ve signed that auto and I wouldn’t have blown your cover”

Kudos to Chase for handling this situation perfectly.
This is just completely unacceptable behavior. No professional athlete owes anyone an autograph, especially in that kind of situation.
The overwhelming reaction to the video was in support of Chase, as it should be.
"The fan is doing way too much (shaking my head)," one comment said.

"Just plain sad that a fan acts like this," another reply said.
"Perhaps they should respect him and leave him alone," one fan said.
"Fans go too far sometimes," another comment said. "No respect."
Sadly, what Chase experienced and other similar situations are far too common for professional athletes, and celebrities in general.
We get it, they're public figures, but heckling someone like this just can't be tolerated. Ask politely, and if the celebrity says no, just keep it moving.
