'The Bear' Season 4 Is Dropping 10 New Episodes Sooner Than You Think
It's hard to believe that the phenomenon of The Bear only debuted three years ago, in 2022. In some ways, the dramedy, centered on a sandwich shop in Chicago, was our first truly post-COVID TV event. Social distancing doesn't really work in a cramped kitchen, and the notion of a show centered around a chef felt like a welcome return to the world before 2020.
Now, three years later, we're getting The Bear Season 4, which may or may not be the end of the hit series. The show that has turned series star Jeremy Allen White into a household name — to say nothing of Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, and Matty Matheson. And, now Season 4 is right around the corner.
But when does The Bear drop new episodes of Season 4? Here's what to know about the surprising release schedule for The Bear Season 4.

The Bear Season 4 Release Date
The Bear Season 4, which is an FX series, will hit Hulu on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. All 10 episodes of The Bear Season 4 will drop at the same time. Meaning, if you start your binge on Wednesday, you could, in theory, be done with the entire new season by Thursday.
You can also stream The Bear Season 4 on Disney+, assuming you have the Hulu and Disney+ bundle.
The Bear Season 4 Episode Release Time
All 10 episodes of The Bear Season 4 will start streaming on Hulu (and Disney+) at 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday night. This is a slight change from some Hulu and Disney+ shows of the past, which have started streaming very early in the morning.
Will The Bear Season 4 Be Followed by Season 5?
As of this writing, there is no confirmation that The Bear will have a fifth season. Some outlets are suggesting that the show could end with a hypothetical Season 5, but because we don't know what happens in Season 4, yet, it's possible, if unlikely, that Season 4 is the ending.
"These decisions are really creative decisions," said FX chairman John Landgraf in 2024. He also noted that he hoped that The Bear showrunner Chris Storer would continue the series.
So, after Season 4 airs, it's a good bet we'll know one way or another how many more sandwiches the crew will be making in the future.
The Bear streams on Hulu.
