Diver Recovers Woman's Prized Heirloom Antique From Lake
A skilled diver recovered a Texas woman’s antique wedding ring after it went missing during a day at the lake, KDFW reported.
JackO’Lynn Page was relaxing with her son and his baseball team at Possum Kingdom Lake last weekend, “truly having a blast” when “I realized my wedding ring was gone from my finger!” “Our team jumped into action looking for it,” Page explained of the 1910 family heirloom. “Picture 11 baseball boys with goggles, moms, dads, grandparents, everyone was looking! But no luck. I was heartbroken.”
When it seemed the ring was lost forever, Page summoned Ryan Prigmore with Blue Diver Search and Recovery. Prigmore scoured the lake for several hours, but ultimately had to give up because “the weather [and] water conditions that afternoon were making the search very difficult.”

"I was getting thrashed by the waves, but I gave my word that I would be back to keep trying," said Prigmore, who told Page that he would return to the site on June 23. “He kept his word," Page said.
Prigmore returned on Monday and searched the lake until he located Page’s ring lying on the bottom of the lake. “I am so thankful for him! He didn’t give up on it. I had been preparing myself for the last few days that it was lost and I wouldn’t see it again,” Page wrote. “My ring is so special to me. And I had no idea how I’d get over this. I am over the moon knowing it’s coming home to me!!”
According to Facebook, Blue Diver Search and Recovery “is the only honest to God 24-hour dive service throughout Texas.” And this isn’t the first time Prigmore has reunited a local with a prized piece of jewelry. In 2022, he helped a man relocate a "prized Rolex at Eagle Mountain Lake."
