Walmart's Newest 'Stranger Things' Snacks Will Hold You Over Until Season 5
Stranger Things fans know how to practice patience. The final season of the series is officially coming to screens on Nov. 26, 2025, after a three year hiatus since Season 4 was dropped. Now, viewers are anxiously awaiting new scenes — but first, they'll need some snacks to watch it with.
Walmart is selling three Stranger Things snacks that will be hitting stores "soon," according to a snack-worthy Instagram post. CakeBites will release two flavors: Hawkins Lab Confetti and Code Red. The former features confetti cakes with a dark chocolate coating, vanilla cream layers, and rainbow sprinkles. The latter will consist of chocolate and vanilla cakes, a dark chocolate coating, vanilla cream layers, and red drizzle stripes.
The Hawkins Lab variety is already displayed on Walmart's website for $3.97, but is currently marked unavailable. Frankford Candy will additionally be contributing with a $3.28 Dig N' Dips Candy Bag, which offers vanilla, cherry and blue raspberry flavors. The snack is described on the retailer's website as a "Halloween Candy Bag," so it's unclear how early the sweet treat will be stocked on shelves.
Commenters are "so excited" about the upcoming launches, writing, "Oh yes, perfect for watching the last season." With the near holiday release date, another said, "Let's just say I'm not eating Thanksgiving dinner until 5 p.m. PST." Others commended the detailed packaging, which features scenes of Hawkins, Indiana, graphics of Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown), and the monstrous Demogorgon.

This isn't the first time that fans have been privy to Stranger Things-inspired snacks. In 2022, Doritos debuted a three cheese flavor, while Walmart had previously sold a Ben & Jerry's limited-edition Stranger Things ice cream flavor just last year.
The first four episodes of the fifth season will be released the night before Thanksgiving, with the last four episodes premiering on Christmas Day. Netflix also recently announced a new animated show based on the popular series, titled, Stranger Things: Tales From '85 that will be released in 2026.
