Unicycle rider left in critical condition after Central Park hit-and-run
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are on the search for a person wanted in connection with a hit-and-run in Central Park that left one man in critical condition.
A 40-year-old man was struck by an unidentified bicyclist while riding his electric unicycle at around 4:30 p.m. on Monday on West Drive in Central Park near 60th Street, according to police.
Officials said the man sustained serious injuries to his body and was taken to a nearby hospital. He is reportedly in critical but stable condition.
Police said the person of interest's location is unknown.
