OBN seizes nearly 4,000 marijuana plants, over 100 pounds of processed marijuana in Hughes County
HUGHES COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics seized almost 4,000 plants and over 100 pounds of processed marijuana on Tuesday during a served search warrant in Hughes County.
According to OBN, its Marijuana Enforcement Team served the search warrant at the DJX Farms in Holdenville as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal marijuana cultivation.
Operators of the grow were using an OBN Registration obtained by fraud involving a ‘straw ownership’ scheme. OBN MET agents were said to have seized 3,853 plants and 118 pounds of processed marijuana, officials said.
Arrests for this case are pending.
