Kaitlin Olson Speaks Out After Husband Rob Mac Professionally & Legally Drops 'McElhenney' Last Name
Kaitlin Olson is addressing husband Rob Mac‘s decision to change his last name.
The 48-year-old It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor recently announced that he was professionally and legally changing his last name from “McElhenney” to just “Mac.”
While attending PaleyLive’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia 20th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday (July 1), Kaitlin, 49, shared her reaction to Rob changing his last name.
Keep reading to find out more…“I’m legally Olson McElhenney, but I go by Olson, so I don’t really have to change anything,” Kaitlin told People. “We can call each other whatever we want. Whatever makes him happy, makes me happy.”
If you didn’t know, Rob and Kaitlin married in 2008 and share sons Axel, 14, and Leo, 13. While announcing that he’s changing his last name, Rob said that their sons will be keeping “McElhenney” as their last name.
Also in attendance at anniversary celebration were Kaitlin and Rob‘s co-stars Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day, and Danny DeVito.
