Three day operation led to several arrests and seizures in Jennings
JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) -- The Jennings Police Department conducted a three day operation concentrating in areas where concerned citizens reported heavy foot traffic, recent burglaries, and auto thefts, police said.
According to police, the operation resulted in approximately 44 traffic stops leading to the following seizures of approximately 7 pounds of Marijuana, 96 grams of THC Wax, 22 grams of Methamphetamine, 1 gram of Fentanyl, 1 gram of Psilocybin and multiple items of Drug Paraphernalia.
The following individuals were booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail:
- Aaron Hicks of Jennings for the charges of bicycle violations, possession of methamphetamines and possession of fentanyl.
- Jamaal Levi of Jennings for the charge of possession of methamphetamines.
- Michael Kratzer of Jennings for the charges of possession of Methamphetamines, resisting an officer and drug paraphernalia
- Jennifer Rougeau of Jennings for the charges of bicycle violations, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Brooklyn Sibley of Westlake for the charges of possession with intent to distribute drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of drugs.
The following individuals were released charges pending due to jail space:
- Eldon Sonnier of Jennings
- Jimmy Mendoza of Jennings
- Shelbi Cox of Jennings
- Kristopher Lejeune of Jennings
- Lance Thibodeaux of Jennings
Hakeem Gloston of Jennings was booked into Welsh Jail pending transfer to the Parish Jail:
Gloston is faces the following charges: traffic violations, possession with intent drugs, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, two counts of possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity.
