Brad Pitt Says He Advises Young Actors Not to Do Superhero Movies
Brad Pitt does not think young actors need to attach themselves to superhero movies or major franchises in order to make it big in Hollywood.
The 61-year-old actor, who has avoided superhero roles throughout his career, is opening up about his advice for young stars.
“I like watching what the new generation is coming in with,” Brad said on the New Heights podcast with hosts Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce.

“I like to see what they are up against and the way they negotiate and work their way through it,” he continued. “They enjoy it more. We were more uptight and it had to be about acting… like, you didn’t sell out, you didn’t sell out. But now it’s like, ‘We can be artists in many different arenas, so let’s do it and let’s enjoy it.’”
“But they also get caught up in you ‘have to have a franchise’ or ‘have to have a superhero.’ But I keep saying, ‘Don’t! Don’t! They’ll die,’” Brad said.
While brad had a small cameo in Deadpool 2, he has never starred in a superhero movie and the only franchise he’s been in is the Ocean’s Eleven series.
That being said, Brad does have a major sequel in the works right now!
