The Fourth of July is a special day for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry because it’s also the anniversary of their second date!
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex took to her Instagram account on Friday (July 4) to celebrate the special day and reveal how their kids – Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4 – have also joined in on the fun.

Meghan revealed that nine years ago, Harry brought her cupcakes on the Fourth of July for their second date. Now the family tradition is to make cupcakes on the day!
“Our second date was the 4th of July 2016 and H brought me cupcakes to celebrate. Now, all these years later, our two children are in on the tradition. Happy Independence Day! May your day be as sweet as these cupcakes ????,” she wrote on Instagram.
