Aryna Sabalenka Praises Boyfriend Georgios Frangulis After Tragedy
Tennis pro Aryna Sabalenka has dealt with relationship trauma in the past. Her ex-boyfriend died tragically in Miami.
However, she has a new boyfriend named Georgios Frangulis, and now she is opening up about his role in her life.
"His support means so much to me,” Sabalenka told Us Weekly in a June 30 article about Frangulis. “Being on the road and having him support me, to make me laugh and to be able to workout together, makes life on the road feel more like home.”
Frangulis accompanied Sabalenka to Wimbledon in July 2025, the magazine reported.
"Traveling is hard on most people, athletes or not,” Sabalenka told US Weekly. “The time changes, the changes in eating habits and lack of hydration makes feeling your best difficult.
Frangulis posts photos showing him with Sabalenka on Instagram.
He is an entrepreneur. The Greek Herald described Frangulis as "the visionary founder of Oakberry," saying that he has "taken the global food scene by storm with his innovative approach to açaí bowls and healthy fast food."
The concept began in Brazil but "has now grown into an international sensation, with Oakberry locations popping up in cities across the world," reported the Greek Herald.
In 2024, Sabalenka's ex-boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, a former ice hockey player, died of suicide in Miami while Sabalenka was playing tennis there, according to People.
She said they were no longer together at the time he died, though, People reported.
She took a break from tennis after his death.
“Looking back I definitely think that I should have just stopped and just separated myself from tennis, just have a little break, recharge and start things over again," she said, according to the Independent.
Sabalenka started dating Frangulis in 2024, according to People.
