Carlos Alcaraz Fires Back After Nick Kyrgios Comments About 'Girls' & Partying
Tennis pro Nick Kyrgios is no stranger to controversy.
He's getting attention again with comments he made about fellow player Carlos Alcaraz in the lead-up to Wimbledon.
Alcaraz's dating life has always been something of a mystery, as he has said in several interviews that he is single.
However, Kyrgios made it clear that this is not because of a lack of interest.
Kyrgios made the comments in an interview with tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou, who asked him to compare Alcaraz with tennis great Jannik Sinner.
The two discussed who will end up having the best career.
"I choose Sinner, because Alcaraz loves girls," Kyrgios said in that interview. "He might get distracted, he might party too much."
"That's my only thing. Sinner will stay more locked in, I think," he added.
Mouratoglou said in the video that Alcaraz is less consistent than Sinner.

Alcaraz has been known to party in Ibiza. And he had a retort after learning about Kyrgios's comments.
"They’re funny comments, which coming from him doesn't surprise me," he responded, according to Talk Sport.
"It’s no secret that Jannik has fewer ups and downs than me. It’s something I’ve been working on. It has nothing to do with the nightlife world," he said, according to the publication.
According to the Mirror, Alcaraz "headed to the Balearic Island to celebrate his incredible French Open win."
However, Alcaraz told EFE that his partying slowed down this year, the Mirror reported, quoting him as saying of the parties, "They were fun, but this year was quieter than the previous one. Last year was more lively. I went out on the first night and then didn't go out at night on the other two."
"In bed by 12 on Tuesday and Wednesday, although I did go out in the afternoon. I'm getting older and my body can't handle it anymore," he added.
Alcaraz has opened up in interviews about being single and the toll that traveling has on his love life.
