Car accident leads to stabbing on Long Island: Police
LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man was sent to the hospital with multiple stab wounds after a car crash led to a fight in Franklin Square on Sunday, according to police.
Police said the victim, a 20-year-old, and 34-year-old Rashawn Marquez were involved in an accident early Sunday morning.
It's alleged that Marquez, of Franklin Square, followed the victim after the crash and stabbed him multiple times with a sharp object that left him with cuts. The victim was taken to a local hospital, according to police.
Police said Marquez was arrested sometime after and charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal weapons charges.
He is due in court sometime on Monday.
