Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark Fans Finally Have Reason to Unite
Finding a common bond between the staunchest supporters of WNBA stars Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark isn't easy to do, but there might be something the two sides can finally unite over.
That something is WNBA officials, who have been criticized often for not doing enough to protect Clark, a regular victim of hard fouls.
Now, Reese is speaking out about poor officiating following the Chicago Sky's 80-75 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday and is doing so at the risk of being fined.
Reese wasn't just critical of officiating in her postgame comments, she also took to X with two separate posts to share her dissatisfaction.
"Diabolical," Reese wrote in a retweet of a post showing a clear foul on her during Sunday's loss.

Reese also urged officials to "do better" moving forward.
In the wake of Reese's comments about officials, WNBA fans wondered if this was the one thing Clark's and Reese's supporters can finally agree on.
"Can we come to an agreement that the refs are bad? Or Caitlin Clark still can’t complain about it but everyone else can? I 100% agree with Angel Reese here! (Free throw) difference at the first half was ridiculous," one Clark supporter wrote.
"Angel Reese agrees with Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever that refs are trash," another WNBA fan said.
Officiating issues haven't been limited to just Clark and Reese, but perhaps the two outspoken fan bases shining a spotlight on the problem together will finally force the WNBA to do something about it.
