Tim Tebow Announces Major Family News
Tim Tebow is officially a new father! The Florida Gators legend and his wife, Demi-Leigh, announced that they have welcomed their first child.
The couple took to Instagram on Monday to share that their baby girl was born on Sunday and that they "couldn't be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life."
The couple's post includes photos of Demi-Leigh holding the baby girl while she's sporting a huge smile. The carousel post also shows the former NFL quarterback holding his baby girl moments after she was born. No word on the baby's name, though the couple teased they'll reveal it to the world soon enough.
"We’re so grateful to the whole medical team that assisted us in the best way possible during my labor and delivery. From our doctor to our nurses and all the hospital staff — we are so grateful and thankful for you," the caption read. "To my sweet friend @hannahjanoe thank you for capturing one of the most special moments of our lives so perfectly.Thank you to everyone who’s been praying with us over her arrival. Tebow and the former Miss Universe met in 2018 at Tebow's annual worldwide prom that his foundation hosts for kids with special needs. Demi-Leigh attended the event. Her sister has a rare condition that causes neurological development delay.
Within just a few months of meeting, the couple was engaged to be married, and they tied the knot in January 2020 at Demi-Leigh's home country of South Africa.
