Minor arrested in connection to Abbeville shooting incident
VERMILION PARISH, La. (KLFY) — Police have made a second arrest in the Abbeville party shooting incident that resulted in three people getting injured on Saturday.
Officials said today, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives apprehended a second suspect in connection with the shooting incident that occurred on July 5. Officials said the suspect is a minor whose name shall be withheld.
The unidentified minor suspect was arrested on three counts of attempted first-degree murder, one count of illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile and 50 counts of aggravated assault
with a firearm.
Authorities said the suspect is in custody with a bond set at $810,000.00.
