Here’s the World’s Cleanest Airline for 2025
The Skytrax World Airline Awards for 2025 have been announced.
As such, the world's cleanest airline has been revealed.
According t the website, the rankings are rated based on the "standard and quality of cleanliness in the aircraft cabin for airlines. Cleanliness and presentation of seat areas, tables, carpets, cabin panels and washrooms all contribute towards the final results."
The top spot went to EVA Air, a Taiwan-based airline, which was at No. 3 a year ago.
Here are the top 20 cleanest airlines in the world.

- Qatar Airways
- Singapore Airlines
- Hainana Airlines
- STARLUX Airlines
- Japan Airlines
- Korean Air
- China Southern Airlines
- China Airlines
- Malaysia Airlines
- Hong Kong Airlines
- Asiana Airlines
- Finnair
- Swiss International Air Lines
- Austrian Airlines
- Qantas Airways
- Lufthansa
- Saudia
As the rankings show, the top three are all Asian-based airlines, and none of the United States airlines made the top 20.
The rankings also took into account the presentation of seat areas, tables, carpets, cabin panels and washrooms, so it was a wide range of aspects to compile this list.
EVA Air also earned a five-star airline rating by SKYTRAX, marking the 10th straight year it was recognized with that honor.
“EVA Air has been recognized with the SKYTRAX’s Five-Star Airline certification for 10 consecutive years since 2016. In our ongoing pursuit of excellence, EVA Air strives to deliver the best every time, which is no easy feat,” said EVA President Clay Sun, via the official website.
EVA Air was also ranked No. 1 in Best Economy Class Airline Catering.
