7/8/2025: Warm & muggy with a few storms
The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
Slightly lower humidity today as a frontal boundary drifts towards our south and settles along the coast.
That means that chances for showers and storms this afternoon are higher to the south of Albany, in places like Greene, Columbia, and Berkshire counties. A couple pockets of heavy rain could lead to pooling of water on the roads. High temperatures peak in the mid 80's.
Tonight looks dry and partly cloudy. Temperatures fall a bit lower than they have in the past couple days, down into the 60's for most.
Tomorrow looks warm, but rather nice. Expect highs in the mid 80's and lower humidity. Most will stay dry.
Humidity and storm chances are back for Thursday and Friday. Saturday looks dry, but awfully steamy. Highs will be in the upper 80's, but it will feel like it's well into the 80's with the humidity factored in.
Another chance for showers and storms on Sunday, then we look mostly dry and less humid for the following Monday.
