Cereal Lovers Ecstatic Over Iconic Dessert Company's Unexpected Collab With Fan-Favorite Coffee Brand
We’re no strangers to the beauty of a collab between two legendary brands. Whether it’s the creation of a fast food beverage line inspired by a sour-then-sweet candy or a pickle-forward slushie sold at America’s favorite drive-in, consumers are really loving these off-the-wall partnerships. In fact, they’re craving it.
When it comes to a new mash-up between a famous NYC-based dessert company and a beloved coffee brand, we’re over the moon. We’re talking about Milk Bar x Nespresso. They’ve combined forces to create a Cereal Milk Iced Latte. We’re familiar with both Milk Bar’s cereal milk recipe and Cereal Milk Ice Cream, but this is taking it to the next level.
Per Milk Bar’s PR team, this new summer beverage is a “nostalgic yet innovative twist on a classic iced latte, inspired by Milk Bar’s iconic cereal milk and Nespresso’s bold iced coffee flavors”. If you’ve ever sipped the milk from the bottom of a bowl of Cornflakes, you know what they’re talking about.
Milk Bar CEO and founder and celebrity chef Christina Tosi worked with Nespresso to create a “special cereal milk-flavored disc (a “bomb”) that is brewed over Nespresso’s Sweet Vanilla Coffee” to create this sweet iced treat.

You can find the Cereal Milk Iced Latte at select Nespresso Cafes in Beverly Hills, Walnut Creek, Boston, New York, San Francisco and Seattle and Milk Bar flagship bakeries in NYC, DC and LA; the drink retails for $6. The cereal milk flavor “bombs” are available for purchase (5 for $20) to brew at home.
Fans are loving this collab, and some wish it were available in more locations, or as a Nespresso pod. “Omg...I need this right now”, said one connoisseur. An Instagram user exclaimed, “will these be available online for those of us who don’t [have] a store [nearby]?”
Here’s to hoping this limited-edition bevvy is available in additional stores AND becomes a permanent menu item.
