Dave Portnoy Confirms Barstool Sports' Historic Deal With TV Network
One day after it was reported that Barstool Sports was closing in on a deal with Fox Sports, the former company's founder, Dave Portnoy, confirmed it's happening.
The news first broke on Wednesday. According to Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, the deal will see Portnoy appear on FS1's college football pregame show Big Noon Kickoff.
Also rumored to be included in the deal, Barstool Sports content will fill at least some of the airtime left vacant after FS1 cancelled three shows on the network.
On Thursday, Portnoy made what is a historic deal for Barstool Sports official.
"Emergency Press Conference - Barstool Sports is Proud to announce a new wide ranging partnership with Fox Sports. This is the 1st time in our illustrious and notorious history that we’ve got a Tv partner we believe in and believes in us. I can’t wait to see what we create together," he wrote.

In his video announcement, Portnoy confirmed his place on Big Noon Kickoff but did not go into detail beyond that.
The deal with Barstool Sports and Portnoy comes amid a major shake-up at FS1.
Fox Sports parted ways with host Joy Taylor and cancelled three shows, Breakfast Ball, The Facility and Speak, which Taylor was the host of.
Thanks to Barstool Sports' massive following, the deal could bring plenty of new eyes to the network.
