Two arrested in connection to Pottawatomie County child abuse investigation
POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office arrested two people on Friday in connection with a child abuse investigation.
According to officials, the department's Special Victims Unit arrested 27-year-old Ashley West and 25-year-old Jeffry Rice, after working with the Child Advocacy Center of Central Oklahoma, by swiftly establishing the safety of the child involved.
West and Rice are being held on $25,000 bonds at the Pottawatomie County Public Safety Center.
No further information has been released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
