POV Footage of Browns Staffer Falling Into Water is Going Viral
On Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns unveiled their new "Alpha Dawg" helmets. The all-brown lids are set to be worn during the 2025 season, and the reveal was presented by DUDE Wipes.
As it turns out, the reveal went viral for a hilarious reason.
One Browns employee was walking and taking a video of the helmet when he fell off the stage and right into Lake Erie.
Later on, fans took to social media with the same reaction: It is staged.
While we don't know if it was staged or not, a new video surfaced giving the point-of-view angle of the cameraman.

This is the newest angle of the video and shows the first-hand perspective of the photographer.
The first footage that went viral was shot from a distance and was shown on a news broadcast.

But the new POV footage has fans laughing hysterically.
At the time of writing, the video had already garnered over 217,000 views, so there is no doubt that this clip will be replayed even more than the others.
The mascot's reaction was something fans noticed previously as he slammed right back into the giant, inflatable helmet after the fall.
Cleveland Browns gotta be the funniest organization in the NFL… ????

If it was staged, it was quite the marketing stunt from the Browns.
The clip by X user McNeil had nearly five million views as of Wednesday evening, and there has been plenty of discussion of this incident, although the POV footage being released is just too perfect.
