Costco’s New 12-Cup Rice Cooker That 'Reduces Carbs and Sugar' Is Turning Heads
We're truly living in the future because never did we imagine that a day would come when a cooking tool would be able to reduce the number of carbs in a dish. Much to our disbelief, Costco is currently selling a rice and grain cooker from Instant Pot that features "Carb Reducing Technology."
The Instant Pot 12 Cup Rice and Grain Cooker with Carb Reducing Technology is available exclusively on the Costco website for $59.99. It's capable of keeping rice warm for hours, so you can quite literally have a side of rice on hand for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
"The Instant Pot 12-cup Multigrain Cooker offers 6-in-1 functionality with smart features that simplify rice and grain cooking. The CarbReduce technology reduces carbs and sugar in rice by up to 40% without sacrificing taste or texture. With 6 cooking presets, it takes the guesswork out of cooking, and can keep rice warm for up to 10 hours. Cleanup is easy with a dishwasher-safe non-stick pot, stainless steel steam basket, and removable inner lid," read a description on the Costco website.

In addition to reducing your load of carbs for the day, the Instant Pot 12 Cup Rice and Grain Cooker also looks quite sleek. The rice cooker is an inviting off-white color and features black handles and a black digital screen.
There are also level marks inside of the steamer, so you can easily measure the amount of water you're adding to the rice cooker.
And Costco, be sure to hit us up when you start selling a device that also reduces the amount of carbs and sugar in your bakery treats. We'll be first in line.
