Brooke Hogan Calls Out Relatives for Relying on Hulk Hogan's Money: 'That Golden Goose Is Gone'
Brooke Hogan isn’t staying silent any longer.
The 37-year-old daughter of the late Hulk Hogan, who passed away on July 24, is speaking out about her estranged family members and making some serious accusations. She spoke to TMZ Live on Aug. 6, claiming that she was “done” with her dad’s friends “spewing these lies” about her.
Brooke removed herself from Hulk’s will in 2023, per TMZ, because she was wary of his inner circle (whom she doesn’t name) and expected a legal battle over the estate. Now, she’s doubling down on those financial claims.
“I just know how my family is,” she said on Wednesday’s episode of TMZ Live. “And I’ve seen how certain members of my family go after money. And I see how they fight over money, and how they turn on each other over money. And I said, if and when my dad dies, this is going to be — pardon my French — a s—t show. And I want no part of it.”
Brooke said she became self-sufficient as an adult, but that doesn’t mean everyone in her family can say the same thing.
“I have my own job, my husband has a job, we do not have any money coming in from my father since I was 18 years old,” she alleged. “Everybody else relied on him for a paycheck, and now that golden goose is gone.”
Brooke’s husband, Steven Olesky, spoke with People on Aug. 2 and defended his wife against her critics.
“My wife will say it — it had nothing to do with his new wife [Sky Daily]. It had to do with the way he treated [Brooke],” he explained to the media outlet.
Brooke also took to Instagram on July 29, sharing that she loved Hulk, but they were never able to heal their rift. “It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand,” she wrote in her post. “My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself.”
The 37-year-old singer hinted at the reported vultures who seemed to feed off his financial support.
“He was telling me these things, being so vulnerable with me and heard my pleas, then suddenly something shifted, and he made a choice to walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit,” she continued. “I know in my heart I did everything I could. He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard, and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.”
While the father-daughter reconciliation never happened, Brooke is dealing with the deep pain from her loss.
