Kelly Clarkson's Absence From Daytime TV Talk Show Explained
Kelly Clarkson‘s absence from her daytime TV show was because she was taking care of sick ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, according to a new report.
The “Since U Been Gone” singer had fans worried after she was missing from NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show in February and March, and now multiple sources are telling Page Six it’s because of her ex’s health.
He is the father of their daughter River, 10, and son Remington, 8. The couple got divorced in 2022.
“It’s been exhausting and so sad… ” a source told the outlet. “Kelly has been working so hard, as well as looking after Brandon. Despite their difficult divorce, he’s still the man she loved and still her kids’ father.”
Kelly has had primary custody of the kids since the split.
The news comes just as she revealed she’s cancelling the rest of the August dates of her Vegas residency to be with him amid a “serious” illness, per Page Six.
