Kerry Washington Supports Husband Nnamdi Asomugha at Screening of His New Movie 'The Knife'
Kerry Washington is supporting her husband Nnamdi Asomugha amid the release of his new movie!
Nnamdi is the director, co-writer, co-producer, and star of the new movie The Knife and Kerry hosted a screening event on Monday (August 11) at the Ray Kurtzman Theater in Los Angeles.
Also stepping out were Nnamdi‘s co-writer Mark Duplass and his co-star Melissa Leo.
Special guests included Regina King, David Oyelowo, and longtime couple Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott, among others.
Here’s the film’s synopsis: “Construction worker Chris (Asomugha) is prepared to do whatever he can to build a solid life for his family, yet his plans are thrown into disarray after a mysterious woman appears in their new home late one night. By the time police arrive, the intruder is lying on the kitchen floor unconscious, a knife in her hand, and it falls to steadfast Detective Carlsen (Leo) to uncover the truth about what happened. Under questioning, Chris, his wife Alex (Aja Naomi King) and their young daughters Ryley (Aiden Price) and Kendra (Amari Price) close ranks, hoping to safeguard one another’s secrets—but the choices they make lead to consequences graver than they could ever imagine.”
The movie will hit select theaters on August 15.
