Every side in the English top division aims for a strong Premier League campaign, one where they are challenging towards the top end of the table and competing for European places.

Opta forecasts Tottenham to struggle under Thomas Frank
According to Opta’s supercomputer model, which has simulated the Premier League campaign multiple times, Spurs are forecasted to have yet another poor Premier League season.
The Lilywhites, who are set to begin a new chapter under former Brentford boss Thomas Frank, are predicted to finish in the bottom half of the league, in 14th place, collecting an estimated 47.92 points.
Frank, of course, will be eager to guide Tottenham to a strong showing in the top flight, yet Opta’s latest prediction suggests a far less encouraging outcome.
Poor projections could pile pressure on Frank
A modest improvement from 17th to 14th would scarcely meet Tottenham’s standards, particularly when measured against the club’s lofty ambitions and stated objectives.
Daniel Levy wants Tottenham to win the Premier League and the Champions League. Should Frank end the campaign in 14th place, such an outcome would inevitably prompt intense scrutiny.
The board’s decision to part ways with Ange Postecoglou illustrated their uncompromising stance on maintaining competitiveness in the Premier League, and if Frank fails to secure a finish that reflects the club’s aspirations, it is entirely plausible that Levy would move quickly to terminate his tenure well before the expiry of his three-year contract.
