Rain showers slow, clouds remain around Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Weekend rain showers slow down on Saturday around the greater Portland/Vancouver area as temperatures remain cooler-than-average.
Mostly cloudy skies remain as early morning rain showers slow. A few breaks in the clouds may give way to a brief round of sunshine. A few light rain showers are possible between sunbreaks on Saturday. Temperatures will remain below average in the upper 70s along the Willamette Valley.
Additional rain accumulation will be minimal later in the day on Saturday. Most of the accumulation will have come to an end by the sunrise hour on Saturday.
More clouds are expected over western Oregon and southwest Washington on Sunday. Despite the cloudy conditions, rain chances are low for the end of the weekend. The gray conditions will help keep temperatures in the upper 70s through the start of next week.
Temperatures are expected to warm as summer conditions return to the Pacific Northwest for the middle and end of next week.
