PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue battled a three-alarm fire at an Aloha apartment complex early Wednesday morning.
According to TVF&R, just after 3 a.m., crews responded to the apartment complex after a resident reported finding fire on her balcony, which was spreading from the apartment below her.
When crews arrived, they said they found two apartments fully ablaze, with fire coming through the roof.
The fire was raised to a third alarm to bring in more units as the flames continued spreading to the neighboring apartments.
Authorities said that two people were injured, one was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, and the other was transported to a local hospital.
Eight families were displaced by the fire, and authorities said they are working with the American Red Cross to find temporary shelter.
