Democrats sue Trump to keep inflicting body mutilations on children
Democrat attorneys general from leftist states have come together to sue the administration of President Donald Trump to keep inflicting body mutilations on children.
Those would be “treatments” that are demanded by those promoting the transgender agenda.
They believe the administration of chemicals, then surgical procedures to remove healthy body parts, can make a boy into a girl, or vice versa.
Actually, being male or female is embedded in the human body down to the DNA level and does not change.
Joe Biden promoted transgenderism for all enthusiastically throughout his presidency but President Donald Trump, on taking office a second time, ended that. He simply declared that the government recognizes only two sexes, male and female.
Now a report at the Daily Wire confirms the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has made plans to cut funding to hospitals that perform those mutilating procedures.
And the attorneys general are suing.
It was Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield who led the campaign to take legal action over HHS plans to cut funding for institutions where those body surgeries are done.
The Democrats, in the legal filing, wildly claim that the surgeries are “safe and effective” for children.
Rayfield charged, “By targeting Oregon providers, HHS is putting care at risk and forcing families to choose between their personal health care choices and their doctor’s ability to practice. Health-care decisions belong with families and their health-care providers, not the government.”
Other Democrat-majority states have joined.
They charge, in the court filing, “Research and clinical data support gender-affirming care as a safe and effective treatment for gender dysphoria in adolescents. Patients receiving gender-affirming care have high rates of satisfaction and low incidence of regret compared with other medical treatments.”
The report, however, pointed out, “Those claims run afoul of research that shows that treatments like puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones can cause infertility, impaired sexual function, diminished bone density, altered brain development, and other irreversible physiological effects. The procedures endorsed by the Democrat officials also include genital mutilation and double mastectomies for girls who identify as boys.”
And studies show that left alone, children with gender dysphoria frequently resolve their mental issues and accept the sex they were born.
The action claims the Trump administration’s actions violate the Administrative Procedure Act as well as Medicare and Medicaid laws.
HHS just announced its plan to bar hospitals that offer transgender work on children from participating in the vast Medicare and Medicaid industries.
