Timothée Chalamet Officially Hit His ‘Unc’ Era at 30 — & One Holiday Detail Says Kylie Jenner’s Still Close
Timothée Chalamet officially hit his “unc” era at 30 with a birthday Instagram post, a Susan Boyle serenade and a starry Los Angeles house party — and one separate holiday detail quietly kept his ultra-private relationship with Kylie Jenner in view.
On Dec. 27, the Marty Supreme star marked the milestone by sharing a carousel of childhood photos on Instagram, including shots of himself playing soccer and ping-pong, and posing with his father, Marc Chalamet, alongside newer images of himself swimming with a shaved head. “THANK U FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES THANK U THANK U THANK U!!!!!! ???? TIMMYTIM IS OFFICIALLY UNC ???? #uncletimmytim,” he wrote in the caption.
His 30th also came with a musical surprise. In a video shared around the release of Marty Supreme, Britain’s Got Talent alum Susan Boyle wore a film-branded jacket he had sent her and sang “Happy Birthday” to him; Chalamet reposted the clip on his Instagram Stories with the message, “THANK U SUSAN !!!!!!!!”.
He didn’t just post about turning 30 — he threw a party at his place in Los Angeles. In photos published by Just Jared, guests walking in included Tyler, the Creator, Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti, Rich Paul, Nathan Fielder and Laura Harrier. Kylie Jenner wasn’t pictured among the arrivals, and the outlet didn’t indicate if she joined the party off-camera.
However, a different seasonal moment suggested the couple are very much still firmly in each other’s orbit. In a Christmas Day Instagram Story shared by Travis Barker’s stepdaughter, Atiana De La Hoya, the Kardashian-Jenner family’s giant Christmas gingerbread house included a tile for “Timothée” just above Kylie’s name and near the names of her children, Stormi and Aire — part of a long-running family holiday tradition, per Elle.
Chalamet and Jenner began dating in spring 2023 and have kept things relatively low-key for a pair with that level of name recognition, appearing together at select moments like the Golden Globes, a Yankees playoff game and the Marty Supreme premiere, where they wore coordinated orange looks. Recent breakup rumors followed his absence from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party in November, but sources told People in November and December that the couple are “still dating” and “doing well,” juggling long-distance work schedules by visiting each other between shoots.
The milestone birthday arrives as Chalamet closes out another big year professionally. Marty Supreme, his ping-pong-centered collaboration with director Josh Safdie, is currently in theaters, extending a run that has kept him on red carpets — sometimes matching with Jenner — all season.
