Top Trump official melts down with vulgar attack on MAGA influencers
Harmeet Dhillon, assistant attorney general for civil rights at the Justice Department, launched into a vulgar tirade Sunday night at MAGA influencers for criticizing the Trump administration, leaving a number of onlookers taken aback at her use of a derogatory slang term.
“‘Conservative’ influencers, if you think you are ‘keeping the pressure on’ or ‘winning’ by spreading bulls--- attacks on Donald Trump’s hand-picked cabinet, you are NOT,” Dhillon wrote in a social media post on X. “You are earning money to spread misinformation. You are hoes. Learn an honest profession!”
Dhillon’s tirade came just hours after she fended off attacks from her own fans who criticized her for complaining about supposed election fraud, but, as a top official at the DOJ, not acting on it.
“It’s a shame you aren’t in a position to do something about it,” wrote Reagan administration alum Hal Furman in a sarcastic quip on social media, an online post Dhillon replied to with a simple message: “It’s a shame you are blocked.”
As for Dhillon’s latest tirade, her attack on MAGA influencers was met with a mixed response.
“I'm not earning one damn dime,” wrote X user “MAGA PATRIOT TGM,” a MAGA influencer who’s amassed more than 135,000 followers. “I'm fed up with inaction.”
Another X user, “Chelsey Freedom,” a conservative commentator who’s followed by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), pushed back on Dhillon’s attack by pointing out that Trump himself has expressed frustration with inaction from the DOJ. Instead of engaging with the response, Dhillon again launched into a vulgar tirade.
“Then you are even dumber useful idiots,” Dhillon wrote. “At least hoes are getting paid and performing a service!”
Tami Marler, a conservative commentator and former journalist, fired back and argued that Dhillon’s attacks on MAGA influencers could end up backfiring in the 2026 midterm elections.
“The Trump administration could use a communications 101 course,” Marler wrote in a social media post on X.
“The one where you're taught to not alienate the base you DESPERATELY NEED to keep from getting decimated in the midterms and to keep Trump from being impeached AND removed," Marler added. "Keep calling ardent but disillusioned supporters idiots and other childish names. See where that gets you in November.”
