‘In shock right now!’ Man calls ‘fraudulent’ Minnesota daycare center, and phone rings office of Gov. Tim Walz
A TikTok user is sounding the alarm about Minnesota daycare fraud, as he has documented himself calling the Google-listed phone number of one center, only to reach the office of Democrat Gov. Tim Walz.
“This is absolutely mind-blowing,” says the TikTokker with a handle of conservativeimmigrant, who explains he was “watching the most recent video by Nick Shirley exposing these daycare centers.” That mega-viral video has more than 113 million views in three days.
The man phoned the Google-listed number of 651-201-3400 for Sweet Angel Child Care in Minneapolis.
“Now listen to where this phone number goes to when you call this child-care center,” he says as the phone rings.
A recorded message answers, saying: “Thank you for contacting the office of Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan.”
“Oh my G*d!” the man exclaims as he drops his phone. “Sweet Angel Child Care, it goes to Gov. Tim Walz’s office. Why is a child-care center directly going to the office of the governor? Make it make sense.
“If this is not a direct link to Tim Walz and these fraudulent childcare centers, I don’t know what else is!”
“This is crazy! I’m just in shock right now!
SOMEONE CALLED A MINNESOTA DAYCARE FROM SHIRLEY’S VIDEO AND IT ALLEGEDLY WENT TO TIM WALZ’S OFFICE

Journalist Mario Nawfal reacted to the video, saying: “Not a state department. Not a referral line. The governor’s office. If true, it raises an obvious question: why would a childcare center’s phone number route to the governor’s office?”
“Possible explanations range from innocent (wrong number listed on Google, phone number reassignment, technical error) to extremely problematic (direct coordination between the facilities and state officials).
“Someone should probably check if other daycares in Shirley’s investigation have similar phone routing issues.”
While Google lists the governor’s office as the phone number for Sweet Angel Child Care, the state of Minnesota’s Department of Human Services shows a different number.
Meanwhile, the FBI is surging resources to Minnesota to combat massive fraud linked to the state’s Somali community.
FBI Director Kash Patel said Sunday: “Even before the public conversation escalated online, the FBI had surged personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota to dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs.”
“To date, the FBI dismantled a $250 million fraud scheme that stole federal food aid meant for vulnerable children during COVID. The investigation exposed sham vendors, shell companies, and large-scale money laundering tied to the Feeding Our Future network.”
Patel says the bureau “believes this is just the tip of a very large iceberg. We will continue to follow the money and protect children, and this investigation very much remains ongoing.
“Furthermore, many are also being referred to immigrations officials for possible further denaturalization and deportation proceedings where eligible.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson praised Shirley for his eye-opening video revealing non-existent daycare centers paid with taxpayer dollars, and he scorched both media and elected officials who have failed to investigate the swindling.
“This jaw-dropping reporting is an indictment of both the national news media and feckless, dangerous office holders in Minnesota like Tim Walz, who have allowed these massive fraud schemes to occur for years. NO MORE,” Johnson said.

“House Oversight has expanded its investigation into these schemes. Republicans have demanded data from Gov. Walz, AG Ellison, the Treasury Department, and the Justice Department, and have requested interviews with several key officials in Minnesota who have allowed, or participated in this fraud.
“The American people deserve answers and accountability and House Republicans will help deliver it.”
Vice President JD Vance also praised Shirley for his reporting, saying: “This dude has done far more useful journalism than any of the winners of the 2024 @pulitzercenter prizes.”
Donald Trump Jr. chimed in, urging Americans to view the entire 42-minute video.
“If you haven’t watched this yet. Watch it. All of it,” he said. Understand that this is what journalists are supposed to do, but no one in the mainstream media will even bother to look let alone actually publish it. This is what they’re doing to your country with your tax dollars!!!”
Tim Walz, the Democrat governor of Minnesota, has criticized the coverage of the fraud, saying it was “white supremacy” at work.
“This is what happens when they target communities for their own benefit. This is what happens when they scapegoat and this is what they happens when they no longer hide the idea of white supremacy,” said the failed 2024 candidate for vice president.
“Tim wants votes,” Shirley responded on Fox News Sunday night. “There are entire apartment complexes where white people have been pushed out of these apartment complexes because Somalians have taken over and they’re inside of these towns like Minneapolis where they can go and go get votes from these people.”

Shirley also called on President Trump to take action against the fraud in Minnesota.

“If you have a hundred-thousand people that will vote for you because you’re gonna enable and let this stuff happen, and because you’re gonna call a white person racist for calling out facts, this is what’s gonna happen to a state like Minnesota.
“Minnesotans, they say Minnesota nice, but they are very upset and I totally understand why they’re upset ’cause they don’t have a governor who’s actually working for them. He’s actually working against them.”
THIS MINNESOTA JUDGE, Sarah West, threw out a $7 MILLION dollar unanimous Somali fraud conviction.
The jury was unanimous.
