'The Last of Us' Recasting Confirmed as Danny Ramirez Exits Series
Danny Ramirez, who appeared in four episodes of The Last of Us as a member of the Fireflies named Manny Alvarez, has officially had to exit season three.
His role will be recast.

In the 2020 video game, The Last of Us Part II, the story takes a sharp turn halfway through. After Joel’s (Pedro Pascal) death, the player plays from the vantage point of Ellie, portrayed by Bella Ramsey in the HBO series. Halfway through, the vantage point does a 180, and you now play from the perspective of Joel’s killer, Abby (Dever).
