3,000 Customers Could Win Free Chick-fil-A for a Year. Here's How You Can Be One of Them
Chick-fil-A is ready to kick off 2026 in style. In honor of its upcoming 80th anniversary, the popular fast-food chain is launching a marketing campaign that includes retro packaging for its mouth-watering chicken sandwiches and four retro collectible cups.
But the big giveaway will go to 3,000 customers who will receive free Chick-fil-A for a year.
How Does This Work?
Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout the country will start rolling out four retro collectible designs every few weeks, "featuring inspiration from the Chick-fil-A archives. The collection also features one special Golden Fan Cup design – with 3,000 Golden Fan Cup winners receiving free Chick-fil-A for a year."
The restaurant will sell 3,000 specialty Gold Fan Cups, which will be randomly dispersed for sale nationwide. Chick-fil-A says that "if guests purchase a Classic Cup and receive the Golden Fan cup design, they can redeem a prize for free Chick-fil-A for a year!"
Is It Really Free for a Year?
All the Classic Cups will be wrapped so that the design is hidden.
A winning card will be inserted in each of the 3,000 Golden Fan Cups, which will include instructions and a QR code for how to claim the prize. The prize includes "52 entrées (choice of: Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, or Chick-fil-A Nuggets (original or grilled, 8-count) at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants."
The Golden Fan Cup Sweepstakes runs through July 1.
The collectible cups will cost $3.99, beginning Monday, Jan. 5. This week's cup is the "Doodles Classic Cup, featuring our very first mascot, Doodles."
Another collectible coming soon includes the famous cows spreading the "Eat Mor Chikin'" message.
What Else Is Coming?
The chain will also give its iconic chicken sandwiches limited-time, vintage-inspired packaging. Chick-fil-A also plans to sell themed merch on its website, and customers who visit its restaurants will also be able to purchase limited-edition designs of its stuffed cows.
As part of the 80th anniversary campaign, Chick-fil-A is also adding its frosted sodas and floats to its menu permanently, starting now.
