Alan Carr Has Amanda Holden (And Us) In Hysterics With Ridiculous Water Slide Scene
If you’ve missed having Alan Carr as a regular fixture on your screen since his epic stint on The Celebrity Traitors came to an end, we’ve got a clip that’s definitely going to chase away your January blues.
You see, the stand-up comic and his right-hand woman Amanda Holden recently unveiled the latest iteration of their home makeover travel series Amanda And Alan’s Greek Job, which is now available to watch in full on BBC iPlayer.
In episode three, the duo down tools for a while and take some time out from their regular manual labour to have some fun at a water park.
Unfortunately for Alan, that includes an ill-fated trip down a water slide that leaves Amanda (and pretty much anyone else who happens to be watching) in hysterics.
Days after the series debuted on iPlayer, one fansite reposted a clip of the scene on X and hailed it as an early contender for “TV moment of the year”, and it’s already racked up hundreds of thousands of views…

Following his scene-stealing appearance on The Celebrity Traitors towards the end of last year, fans can look forward to seeing a lot more of Alan in the coming weeks and months.
It was recently announced that he’d be back on the judging panel of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. The World for its upcoming third season, with Interior Design Masters also set to return for a new season in 2026.
There’ll also be another season of his sitcom Changing Ends later in the year, and he’ll also be competing on the second run of the Amazon comedy series Last One Laughing alongside the likes of Romesh Ranganathan, Mel Giedroyc, David Mitchell and Diane Morgan.
And while it was previously rumoured that his old talk show Chatty Man could be rebooted by the BBC off the back of Alan’s success on Celebrity Traitors, one rumour we can probably rule out now is that he and Amanda will be replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing.
