Belkin’s new wireless HDMI dongle works at up to 40 meters through walls
At CES 2026, Belkin unveiled its new ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter, a plug-and-play wireless HDMI adapter that lets you connect your PC, tablet, or phone to an HDMI display without any cumbersome cables or Wi-Fi connectivity, reports Engadget.
The system consists of two components: a USB-C transmitter and a USB-A receiver, which communicate directly over the 5GHz band with a range of up to 40 meters. No drivers or special apps are needed. The only requirement is for the source device to send a video signal via USB-C and for the HDMI receiver to be powered via USB-A.
Belkin’s wireless HDMI adapter is capable of 1080p resolution at 60Hz of refresh. It also works through walls—with some signal loss—and can be paired with up to eight transmitters for switching between devices.
The Belkin ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter will launch in Q1 2026 and will be priced at $149.99.
