Banished Traitors Star Teases Another Rumoured Secret Connection Between 2 Contestants
This article contains major spoilers for last week’s instalments of The Traitors.
As Traitors fans up and down the country try and work out the identity of the “Secret Traitor” – not to mention piecing together evidence that suggests two contestants secretly knew each other before filming got underway – it turns out there was a very different theory among the cast that hasn’t even made it onto our screens.
Last week, viewers saw child liaison officer Judy becoming the first member of the group to be “banished” from the castle, before revealing to the rest of the contestants that she’d actually been a “Faithful” all along.
Unbeknown to the rest of the cast, though, Judy was harbouring a secret, as she’s actually the mum of remaining contestant Roxy.
Speaking to Metro after her exit aired, Judy admitted that there had been a rumour of another family link floating around during her short-lived stint in the castle.
“I think there could be more secret connections,” she teased, claiming there “was a lot of speculation” throughout her time on the show surrounding Faraaz and Maz.
“Are they son and dad?” she pondered. “We kept thinking that.”
Responding to the popular theory pointing to a secret relationship between Ellie and Ross, Judy then admitted this wasn’t something she’d picked up on.
“Ellie is quite quiet and if you saw the bit when we’re in the kitchen, that’s the first time I actually spoke to her, but she’s quite quiet,” she shared. “Whereas Ross is very out there and quite bubbly, so I didn’t connect that at all.”
The Traitors returns to our screens later this week, beginning on Wednesday night at 9pm on BBC One, when the identity of the “Secret Traitor” will be made clear to Rachel and Stephen – as well as us viewers.
