Mother Gave Birth to a Baby Boy Under the Hospital’s Christmas Tree
Karina Largo had an unconventional birth at 2:49 a.m. on Christmas morning. Her precious baby, the sweetest gift to receive. And the craziest part? Her baby was born under the hospital’s Christmas tree in the lobby.
Karina’s water broke on the way to the hospital, and the urge to push came immediately. By the time they arrived, she could not wait another second. “I just want to lay down and I want to have the baby here, and the nurses were so nice,” she recalled.
Baby Jaxson ended up being born on the lobby floor just three minutes after his parents walked through the doors.

“It was the greatest gift. Just a simple birth,” said Largo.
“I didn’t even realize I was under the tree until I looked up and I was like, ‘Oh! The branches!’ ” she added. “It was definitely an unplanned gift, and I loved it,” Largo said.
God’s plan isn’t always what we had expected, or even originally wanted. However, it is always perfect. He works in moments we cannot predict and in ways we never could have planned for ourselves.
“I didn’t really want him to come through Christmas, but the Lord knows its timing,” Largo said. “He knew I needed this gift right now at this moment, so I’m very excited.”
God knows what we need exactly when we need it. He is also a specialist in turning all things for our good and His glory. Whether a mother is experiencing an unexpected pregnancy, pregnancy health-related issues, adoption setbacks, or any other unexpected circumstance, His presence remains constant. Even in the chaos, even in the waiting, He is faithful. And even in times of discomfort, his perfect will is unfolding.
