Rose Byrne Says Her Brother George Resembles These Two Hot Celebrities
Did you know that Rose Byrne‘s brother is married to a famous actress?!
The Golden Globe-nominated actress will be bringing her brother George Byrne to the awards show this weekend as her date, since her husband is unable to attend with her.
While revealing this info on Fallon this week, Rose compared her handsome brother to two hot celebs.

“I’m taking my brother George, who’s wonderful. He’s very handsome. He looks a bit like Robert Pattinson meets Jacob Elordi, so he always gets a lot of attention. But yeah, he’s going to come and support. It should be fun,” Rose said.
George is pictured below with Rose at the Oscars in 2012 and then more recently at the Critics Choice Awards in 2026.
George, 50, is a visual artist who has been based in Los Angeles since 2011. His website notes that he “creates large-scale photographs that depict everyday surfaces and landscapes as painterly abstractions. Borrowing from the clean, vivid clarity of modernist painting, he also references the New Topographics photography movement via a subject matter firmly entrenched in the urban everyday.”
George said, “I’d always been interested in anti-landscape photography, but it wasn’t until I moved to LA and started shooting in color and experimenting with manipulation and assemblage that I felt I was able to do anything very expressive or original with it. The images I’m making now are quite removed from reality, but I tend to bury the lead and not let the seams distract. Hence the effect is hopefully one of pleasure and disconcertion. They are dreamscapes.”
George is married to Ghosts actress Rose McIver! They welcomed a child in 2024.
