Three Planned Parenthood Centers are Closing in Pittsburgh
Some encouraging news for the cause of life is coming out of the Pittsburgh area.
A trio of Planned Parenthood offices are temporarily closing due to staffing shortages and what the abortion giant calls “political attacks.”
WPXI TV did a credible job reporting on the situation. I was fortunate enough to be interviewed for their story, which you will find here.
Without feeder clinics funneling vulnerable women into abortion facilities, abortion totals in the greater Pittsburgh area are likely to decline. That is good news for women and for their babies.

But there are concerns on the horizon.
Until recently, the Pennsylvania Department of Health website listed 17 abortion facilities in Pennsylvania. The facilities included those that perform surgical abortions and those that conduct chemical abortions.
But now 19 facilities are listed, with two new entries for Pittsburgh.
However, no health surveys or building safety surveys are available for these two abortion entities: Seasons Ob/Gyn Pittsburgh and West Penn Ob/Gyn Multispecialists. Interestingly enough, the two are both located at the same street address on Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh.
The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation closely monitors state health inspection reports for abortion facilities. This is only made possible through our abortion center regulation law, which pro-abortion politicians are now trying to eliminate. It is hard to understand how they can say they are advocates for women’s health when they want to get rid of basic health and safety requirements for abortion facilities.
