Behind the Scenes: Day One of the Professional Skateboard League Arena Build
Day one of building the Professional Skateboard League arena is officially underway, and Mike Mo is here to share his vision inside the Girl Skateboards warehouse where the event will be taking place.
Before the lights, crowds, and ripping, it all begins with raw materials, measurements, and a determined crew focused on turning these plans into a skateable reality. Mike mentioned day two will paint a better picture, but there's still a ton of great info about this new concept in the video below. Check it out:
When PSL debuted last year, reactions were mixed, but honestly, most people were stoked. When all your favorite skateboarders are in the mix—literally the best in the game—it's hard to hate. I tuned in and enjoyed every second of it, and like skateboarding itself, the contest is bound to evolve year after year. We're stoked for the new season.

“I never thought that starting a 'league' was something that I would do, or even want to do," Mike Mo mentioned early on. "But over the years have been slowly developing new ideas for how we can make it different than any other contest and something that is simplified enough that anyone can watch and understand. A truly objective format seemed like a fun enough idea to explore. So here we are."
The PSL season kicks off January 31 and runs for 6 weeks, with contests every Saturday through March 14. Each team competes head-to-head, all inside the Girl Skateboards warehouse.
