The Traitors Season 4's Much-Anticipated Finale Will Be Screened In Cinemas
The current season of The Traitors has brought us no end of cinematic drama, so it’s fitting that this time around, many of us will be able to watch the highs and lows of the upcoming finale on the big screen.
On Friday 23 January, the game will reach what promises to be an action-packed climax, as the race to win a cash prize of up to £120,000 comes to an end.
In the lead-up to the much-anticipated finale, several cinemas across the UK have announced that they’re streaming the finale episode live on the big screen.
Many of these watch parties will also feature pre-show quizzes and prizes for those who dress on theme – so get your fringe and eyeliner ready, and you might get a drink on the house…

What do we have to look forward to in the Traitors season 4 finale?
If season four is your first time watching The Traitors, meaning you’ve never actually seen a finale before, you’re in for a treat.
Following one last mission, the remaining Faithfuls and Traitors then sit down together as usual for the final roundtable, where they’ll decide who they want to banish for the final time.
But the game doesn’t end there.
As the finale unfolds, the remaining players then have to vote on whether or not they’re unanimously confident there are no Traitors left in the game. If anyone suspects a Traitor is left, the group must vote to banish again, which carries on until either a unanimous decision to end the game is reached, or there are only two players left.
This dramatic final vote usually takes place outside, by the firepit, and sees the contestants throwing different coloured ceremonial pouches into the flames to either end or continue the gameplay.
Complicating matters even further, at the last banishment, the group don’t find out if the person they’ve eliminated is a Faithful or a Traitor, forcing them to rely solely on their intuition with the last votes.
If no Traitors are left in the game at the end, the Faithfuls will split the prize pot, but if even one Traitor remains, they steal the money for themself (or themselves if there is more than one).
While Friday’s episode starts 30 minutes later than usual, at 8.30 pm, fear not: it’s not shorter. In fact, the finale is an extended 75-minute episode, followed by a bumper instalment of the spin-off series Uncloaked.
Of course, we have two episodes of twists and turns before we get to the final, with the six remaining Faithfuls hoping to spot Rachel and Stephen as Traitors before they can steal the prize pot.
Going into the final week, we find out which contestant Rachel and Stephen awarded the symbolic “dagger” to, giving them a double vote in the next roundtable banishment.
Before all that, though, The Traitors season four continues on Wednesday 21st January at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
